Cardi B is receiving a slew of backlash from apparent gang members on her social media accounts because of a caption where she dissed Crips. The Bronx rapper, who is often dressed clad in all-red, and replaces her C's with B's has an affiliation with the Bloods, having stated she grew up around the Brim set in the past.

On Monday (February 5), Cardi posted a photo to Instagram of herself donning a blue fur coat while in Minneapolis for the Super Bowl festivities. She captioned the picture, "I hate wearing Flue, but this coat was too poppin'." Her use of the word "Flue" which is read as "flu," is a term to reference Crips and their team color of blue. With Cardi's past statements about being a Blood, the post, which has over one million likes, brought out angry comments and threats from crip members.

One of the comments on her picture read "@iamcardib this will not be accepted #DONTCOMETOLA." Another one said, "Now why you go and do this f**k sh*t, Cardi. This is literally WestCoast Suicide.... b**ch betta get #neutral." Since the outpour of negative comments, Cardi B has deleted the caption on the photo and had closed off comments.

The "Bodak Yellow" rapper is scheduled to travel to Los Angeles for NBA All-Star Weekend festivities in a little over a week, the hometown of both gangs.
