Tekashi 6ix9ine and Young Thug seem to be pretty close friends. If you follow them both on Instagram, then you probably noticed that they interact with each other often. For better or worse, in 2018, friendships and relationships are judged based off social media interactions.
On a recent Instagram post, the "Gummo" rapper posted a picture of himself with a rather interesting caption. "I'm so f**king gorgeous bro, like I literally love myself." That's the trolling that's helped catapult him into being a weekly topic of conversation.
Even more interesting though was the comment left by his BFF Young Thug, who merely commented "Handsome." Last week Tekashi posted a picture with Thug and Birdman in which he announced he was signing to Rich Gang for $15 million, but it was never actually confirmed.
The two rappers are similar in the way they use controversy to create more buzz For themselves. Whether they're genuinely expressing themselves or using it to promote their brand and stay in the public eye, they keep people talking. Thug is known for his androgynous behavior. He's worn dresses and gone on record that he refers to close male friends as "bae."
Either way, fans can expect more controversy from the two, and probably a collaboration.
