It looks like the insane grind that Tekashi 6ix9ine has been on since dropping "Gummo" four months ago has finally paid off. The Brooklyn rapper posted to Instagram on Saturday, February 3, to let fans know that he has secured an eight-figure bag with Cash Money kingpin, Birdman.
"Just signed to Birdman RICHGANG," 6ix9ine wrote, confirming that he's reached a deal with the label that will pay him $15 million. Tekashi announced the agreement beneath a photo of Baby posted up behind him and Young Thug. Some hours later Thugger would congratulate the rainbow-haired Blood representer by writing "Ur perfect... BTW" in the comments.
A couple of weeks ago Tekashi made waves among hip-hop blogs by hitting his IG followers off with a photo of him signing a document that he claimed was a contract with the Illuminati worth $7.5 million.
Although the presence of lawyer Bob Celestin in the photo made it appear as some form of official business, though, many remained skeptical that they were being trolled by the social media-savvy star.
Tekashi getting on with Rich Gang appears to be legit though, and it comes only one week before he heads out to New Orleans to perform his next show Metropolitan Nightclub.
