Cardi B was in some hot water earlier this weak after she posted a photo to Instagram rocking a gaudy blue fur coat and took a dig at crips with her caption. Under the picture Cardi replaced the word blue with "flue," the wordplay was taken as a diss to the gang and soon had Cardi receiving threats from alleged gang members.

The Bronx native has been vocal about her affiliation with the bloods and the Brim set, so many crips reacted because of the historied rivalry between the two gangs. Shortly after the flood of angry comments and death threats, Cardi removed the caption and disabled her comments.

Now, with Cardi's scheduled appearances in LA, many venues like Murano, Penthouse, and Ace of Diamonds are beefing up security to make sure everyone remains as safe as possible. According to TMZ, the three clubs have tripled the number of security guards they have on staff for the night of Cardi's appearances.

They have also hired off-duty cops who will wear their uniforms while in the venues. Sources also told the gossip site that there was an emergency meeting to discuss how to handle the situation. Cardi nor her team have canceled any appearances despite the level of threats she is receiving. The rapper is rumored to be getting $250,000 for each nightclub hosting.
