Remy Ma signed a multi-million dollar deal with Colombia Records in October 2017. As she prepared to work on her album, the Bronx native made other changes within her career to bring it to the next level. Remy let go of her husband Papoose as her manager to separate her marriage from the stresses of her career and retained Vincent Herbert, ex-husband of Tamar Braxton and who has worked with the likes of Lady Gaga, Toni Braxton, Destiny's Child, and Tatyana Ali.

Now it appears Remy Ma is looking for new management as she has already parted ways with Vincent. According to TMZ, the rapper has cut ties with him because he failed to be the "super manager" he presented himself as. Sources tell the gossip site that Vince had been spending more time trying to win back his ex-wife Tamar than proving basic managerial duties such as booking studio time and scheduling performances. Tamar recently filed for divorce from her husband and father of her son, soon her mother was in the media alleging that Vince was abusive. Soon after, Tamar accused him of cheating and there was an allegation about another baby before Tamar accused Vince of sleeping with Laura Govan.

Remy Ma recently released a single featuring Chris Brown called "Melanin Magic." As she readies her album for a 2018 release there's no indication of how the firing of Vince will affect the production of new music. Papoose and Remy are also working on a treatment to conceive a child as is being rehashed on Love & Hip Hop NY.
