Remy Ma recently released her track “Wake Me Up,” which featured former rival Lil Kim. Since then, the artist has made moves to ramp up her career. One of those moves included bringing on Vince Herbert as her manager. With Herbert stepping in as her manager, that means he replaced her husband Papoose, who was previously in the role.

Despite replacing her husband’s manager role, Remy noted in an interview with TRL that everything is still amazing with her and Papoose. “So the thing is this, with my husband by my side I managed to get two Grammy nominations, Soul Train Award, BET Award, Gold singles, Multi-Platinum singles, and we did all of that with just us two independently,” said Remy. “So now I’m like ‘I want my husband back’, and want to take it to the next level, not because he did a bad job, he did a great job, and he’s always gonna be there.”

Remy spoke on Herbert’s current status, saying “Vince is doing a great job. Pap looks over everybody’s shoulder.”
