The anticipation for Disney-Marvel's Black Panther continues to grow as photos from its premiere circulate social media and stars like Issa Rae shared more than positive reactions to the film. Rae took to her Instagram to say that the movie impregnated her after she watched it. The Ryan Coogler directed film according to Fandango and Alamo Drafthouse is now reportedly breaking records in online advance ticketing sales. The film outsold 2016's Batman vs. Superman in advance ticketing.

Angela Basset, a veteran of the Hollywood Industry, stars in the film as T'Challa's mother. In an interview with Variety, she explained why the movie is unique and receiving so much recognition. In her opinion, it is "seeing all these beautiful, talented black people in one place."

The managing editor of Fandango, Erik Davis said, "The positive word-of-mouth is helping drive the movie's spectacular advance ticket sales," as the company reveals advance sales are skyrocketing. Many people are calling the film "Marvel's best movie ever," according to Davis.

Alamo Drafthouse has gone on record to say that the presale tickets for this movie have sold faster than any previous comic book movie that the company has screened.

Black Panther is scheduled to hit theaters on February 16 and the soundtrack to the film co-produced by Kendrick Lamar will hit streaming platforms on Feb. 9th.
