After Fredo Santana's untimely death, many people within the hip-hop community voiced their condolences for the 27-year-old and his family. While it is expected for all those close to Fredo to post about his passing on social media, it was quite a surprise to see his "opps" also pay respect to the fallen drill rapper.

Fellow Chicago rapper FBG Duck showed love to Fredo despite being embattled within beef between their crews. Duck took to Twitter to say: "Rip @FREDOSANTANA300. Aint Never Heard Him Say Nun About Tooka Or No Fu Shit Outta All The Years Of The Beef He Was A Real Street Nigga & Real Recognize Real ."

After his posting, many people called FBD Duck honorable for putting their feud aside to show appreciation for Fredo's life. Many people in that position would not do the same. Duck also went to his Instagram account to clarify on why he chose to speak in such high regard of Fredo.

Knowing people would question his motives, Duck started the caption stating, "A lot of n****s gone be like damn what duck on? Well, to let y’all know I ain’t even tryna be funny by posting this, but out of all the years, we been beefing I ain’t never seen or heard you say s**t about Tooka."

He continued: "Plus, you a street n***a. The only n***a from yo side I can say was 100. Everybody f****d with yo lil b***h ass. I can’t lie. Prayers go out to yo family. Idgaf about yo homies #RIP @fredosantanassr #StillFckTheOppsDoe #BigClout." Fredo died of a seizure over the weekend after suffering from kidney and liver failure due to heavy drug usage at the end of 2017.
