Bam Margera hasn't had the best go of things over the past few years. Since filming his last role in an MTV series back in 2016 (Family Therapy with Dr. Jenn, which dealt with Margera's self-destructive behavior), the pro skateboarder had been arrested on a DUI charge on Sunday.

Released on a $15k bail that same day, Margera has checked himself into alcohol rehab. This was expected, as Margera's mother April said as much to Page Six after his arrest: “He feels a lot better,” she said. “He had a bad night. He’s embarrassed by it. He’s mad at himself for being stupid. Now he just wants to pick up the pieces and move forward for himself and for his family.”

Element Skateboards Founder Johnny Schillereff, (who sponsored Bam Margera while he was at his peak in his skateboarding career), was instrumental in the process of getting Bam into rehab.

In what is to be assumed as one of his final posts on Instagram before going into rehab, Margera posted a photo of him and Schillereff with the caption, "Thanks to @johnnyschillereff of element skateboards for checking me into alcohol rehab today. No phones here, see y’all soon".

He would post a few more photos on his social media, one directly contradicting that.

In an image with a cramped urinal and sink, Bam captioned it: "Rehab privileges- having my own bathroom, I can piss and floss simultaneously, and I get to use my phone an hour a day!"
