A recently published diary has revealed that The President of the United States was considered by a college professor as “the dumbest goddam student I ever had.” Frank DiPrima, author of the diary, claims former Wharton School of Business professor William T. Kelley told him about this. William T. Kelley taught at the college for 31 years until his retirement in 1982. He died in 2011. Donald Trump attended Wharton for two years, graduating in 1968.

Dr. Kelley said these statements to Mr. DiPrima after Trump had become a celebrity but before he ran for president. The late professor also said that Trump came to Wharton thinking he already knew everything. Mr. DiPrima wrote, “Professor Kelley told me 100 times over three decades that “Donald Trump was the dumbest goddam student I ever had.” I remember his emphasis and inflection — it went like this — “Donald Trump was the dumbest goddam student I ever had.” The president has often times bragged that he was a brilliant student at Wharton.

This post comes at a time where President Trump recently challenged his Secretary of State Rex Tillerson to an I.Q. test. This was after it was reported that Rex Tillerson called Donald Trump a “moron.”
