The rise in hurricanes have been reached epic levels in the past month, and now news arrived that three hurricanes are currently spinning in the Atlantic Ocean as of Thursday morning. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration showed an image that detailed the three storms spinning. The storms— Hurricane Irma, Hurricane Jose, and Hurricane Katia. According to reports, Hurricane Katia is the storm that is the furthest west and was picking up in terms of strength as it approaches the southwestern Gulf of Mexico. Meteorologists are reporting that the Katia is expected to hover near there, which will do some damage to Mexico.

According to CNN, this is the first time since 2010 that three active hurricanes have been present at once in the Atlantic Ocean. The path that Hurricane Jose is set to take will find the storm hovering over the Leeward Islands, an area Irma just ran through. Jose is set to reach Category 3 or more and could push winds of 90 miles per hour.
