Mary J. Blige has been ordered to pay her ex-husband, Martin "Kendu" Isaacs, $30,000 in temporary spousal support.

The payments will retroactively date back to September and will also cover his attorney fees for a total of $235,000.

Blige filed for divorce from Isaacs, who was also her manager, back in July of 2016. The ex-couple were married for 13 years.

It could have been much worse for Blige, as Isaacs originally demanded $129,319 per month to accommodate the lifestyle he became used to while married to the R&B singer. As per TMZ, the court "decided his dream number was unreasonable."

However, Blige states that they did not live the lifestyle he claims they did. In December, according to E! Online, she said, "[Isaacs] suggests we lived a lavish lifestyle and in fact, we overspent, and we are in significant debt...We owe millions of dollars in taxes and have significant advances that have to be recouped by record companies."

Also, Blige contested that Isaacs did not contribute anything to her career. She said, "My success as an entertainer has nothing to do with [Isaacs]. I was successful when I met him and have continued to enjoy success, although there have certainly been ups and downs."

As per Jezebel.com, she felt as though she should not have to pay anything to Isaacs. She said, "It’s not fair. Why do I have to pay you? And why do you think you deserve this amount of money? Why do you think you deserve any money? You didn’t make me. You’re not God. So I have to pay you for being my husband and for being my manager?”

If all of that is not enough, Blige stated that Isaacs had misused her money to the tune of $420,000.
