With Forbes documenting that Jay-Z's net worth shot up a whopping 30% to level out at $810 million in 2017, it is only a matter of time before he hits the billion dollar mark. Until that day arrives, he and wife Beyonce can relish in the fact that together they make for a billion dollar couple.
According to a new Forbes estimate, Jay's high 9-figure worth is matched by Bey's $350 million fortune, to make for a combined value of $1.16 billion. Aside from the money both artists pull in from their catalogs, they each bring a nice little bag home from their respective stake in Tidal.
Forbes just recently announced it's list of the richest hip-hop artists. Jay Z placed a close second behind Diddy, who clocked in with a net worth of $820 billion, only $10 billion more than Jay. But the Roc Nation boss looks to have surpassed him for the crown in 2018, only one week after the list was announced, thanks to a 10-year $200 million contract he agreed to with Live Nation last Thursday, May 11.
