Earlier today (January 25th), protesters from Greenpeace climbed a crane located a few blocks away from the White House, and dropped a banner from the top reading "resist". The banner can be seen hanging over the White House.
The protest is in response to an executive order President Trump signed allowing the Dakota and Keystone XL oil pipelines to continue, something Obama blocked last year. This is in accordance to protests nationwide against Trumps presidency. Read the original article here.
