Footage of Rae Sremmurd's Slim Jimmy splitting his leg open while performing at Governor's Ball has hit the net.
The rapper was performing "Unlock The Swag" when Jimmy attempted to get close to fans by jumping between speakers. Unaware of the instability of a light fixture, the 21-year-old jumped on it and immediately fell onto the fixture, with one of his legs going through the glass front.
Photos of the rapper's gruesome injury were seen online following the incident. During the show Jimmy also encouraged fans to post the video of the event online.
"If you got that video, put that s*** on Instagram," he said. His brother Swae Lee added, "It's, like, split open, I'm serious."
Jimmy stayed around behind the turntables during the rest of the performance as fans rapped the verse to their hit single, "No Type."
He also sent a message to fans following his successful surgery to fix his wound.
"I'm Slim Jimmy, I drink milk, I'm going to be fine." he said from his hospital bed. "Look at this. I just stood up. I'm the magic man!"
