Rae Sremmurd's set during the opening day of Governors Ball in NYC took a wrong turn after Slim Jimmy slipped on a speaker in front of the stage and split his leg open. The rapper used his microphone backstage to tell fans that he had a "big ass piece of glass" lodged in his leg, and Swae Lee added that his brother's leg was "split open."
Swae Lee continued the set while Jimmy was escorted to the hospital in an ambulance, and he received surgery to stitch up the massive open tear on his upper thigh. A photo of the injured rapper was posted to the Rae Sremmurd Instagram page that informed fans that "Jimmy is doing ok."
