Much talk has surrounded the posthumous Aaliyah album that Drake and producer Noah "40" Shebib have been working on over the past month. While only one single from the LP has been released so far, today the cover art for the project was revealed.
The artwork depicts an image of the singer swimming to shore during her video for "Rock the Boat". Aaliyah's uncle, Barry Hankerson, unveiled the cover via Twitter. He also hinted at a possible release for the album, which is simply titled "Aaliyah", after the singer.
"Aaliyah posthumous 2013 16 unreleased tracks produced by @Drake @OVO40 Enough said #TeamAaliyah," Hankerson tweeted.
It was reported earlier in the month that long time Aaliyah collaborators Missy Elliot and Timbaland wouldn't be involved in the creation of the LP. Check out the cover for the album and let us know what you think.
