After weeks of speculation, it seems as if Timbaland and Missy Elliot won't be having anything to do with the Aaliyah album that Drake has in the works. According to Mona Scott-Young, a representative for Missy, the two will not be contributing to the project. She announced the news in a press release.

"Although Missy and Timbaland always strive to keep the memory of their close friend alive, we have not been contacted about the project nor are there any plans at this time to participate... We've seen the reports surfacing that they have been confirmed to participate but that is not the case. Both Missy and Timbaland are very sensitive to the loss still being felt by the family so we wanted to clear up any misinformation being circulated."

Not too long ago, Jomo Hankerson, cousin of the late singer, had many believe that Missy and Timbaland would be lending a helping hand as he had confirmed that the two would be involved. Unfortunately that's just not the case.
