During a recent radio interview, Katy Perry either verbalized a bad choice of words, or actually meant to diss Beyonce for some random reason. However, given the fact that Katy Perry has been known to praise Beyonce in the past, it's hard to believe that the suspect comment she made regarding Beyonce's "Beautiful Liar" collaboration with Shakira, was consciously said with negative intentions.
Beyonce fans seem as though they could care less whether Katy Perry meant her statement to come off negatively or not, they are not happy.
Katy spoke on the topic of her hopeful collaboration with friend and fellow star Rihanna, and used one of Beyonce's songs as an example of what she doesn't want her and Rihanna's collaboration to be like.
Katy said:
"I want it to be like that Eurythmics and Aretha Franklin song 'Sisters Are Doin' It for Themselves', not 'Beautiful Liar.' But I definitely want to do something that is so iconic. Rihanna's kind of busy too. We're both busy but we planted the seed two years ago. How disappointed would you be if that song came out and it's no good? Sometimes you have to wait for greatness."
This was probably just a poor choice of words used by Katy, no real harm done.
