Rapper 2 Chainz is among the star-studded roster of artists in Texas for the SXSW festivities, and FUSE conducted an interview with him in which he spoke on his departure from Ludacris's Disturbing the Peace label and the changing of his album title.

"I wanted to be my own boss. To me, I wasn't going anywhere. It had a glass ceiling. So, I just wanted to get on my own, start over, from the ground up with the hustle."

He then touched on how his decision affected Ludacris himself.

"As far as how [Ludacris] felt when I wanted to do my own thing, for the most part, he gave me his blessings. But it is a business so he wanted some, so I gave it to him because I wanted to leave. So, it is what it is."

Also during the interview with FUSE, the Playaz Circle member revealed that his upcoming project will be titled Based on a T.R.U. Story after changing it from T.R.U. to My Religion.
