Reports have come in which claim that Carmelo Anthony allegedly advised the Knicks' management against the signing of shooting guard J.R. Smith, who has recently been fined $25K for Tweeting nude pics of vixen Tahiry.
Carmelo commented publicly regarding Smith potentially joining the Knicks before he was signed:
"If it happens, it happens and I'll be happy."
But a source close to Carmelo claims that his initial reaction was a negative one regarding J.R. Smith, and that 'Melo was "hurt" that the Knicks' management didn't listen to his advice.
