Cash Money boss Birdman came forward to squash the rumors that Weezy was arrested last night backstage at the Grammy Awards.
He didn't elaborate on the details, but did say there is no truth to the gossip.

When Lil Wayne hopped to the stage and delivered a verse, some speculated that the authorities were waiting offstage to cart him away. Now it seems that the news was a false alarm, and that nothing of the sort happened tonight.
