Part 1: TK Kirkland on Mo3 Murder Trial: Mo3 Was Too Fat to Run! Why Didn't He Stay in His Car???
--------
TK Kirkland sits down with Vlad to revisit his early Los Angeles comedy club days and his long history with Tiffany Haddish, recalling the tough advice he gave her before her breakthrough and the moment she later called him crying to thank him. Kirkland also explains why his attraction to Haddish once led to a short-lived “date” that ended almost immediately because he saw her more as naturally hilarious than romantic.
The conversation expands into comedy discipline, stage rules, and how Kirkland helped shape comics including Godfrey, D.L. Hughley, and JJ Williamson. He also weighs in on the reported next Friday movie, Chris Tucker’s legendary performance in Friday, Mike Epps’ work ethic, Rush Hour rumors with Jackie Chan, Tucker’s tax issues, and memories with Faizon Love on Sunset Boulevard around Dead Presidents. A candid look at stand-up, loyalty, timing, and surviving 41 years in comedy.
