G. Dep closes out his VladTV interview with a Harlem hip-hop “This or That” bracket, weighing legends and icons including Kurtis Blow, Kool Moe Dee, Doug E. Fresh, Herb McGruff, Smoke DZA, 40 Cal, J.R. Writer, Dave East, Diddy, Jim Jones, Max B, A$AP Ferg, A$AP Rocky, Big L, Juelz Santana, Ma$e, and Cam’ron. After repeatedly backing Doug E. Fresh as the ultimate entertainer, G. Dep switches when Black Rob enters the matchup—and rides with his late friend to the end, calling him the top choice among Harlem rappers.

The conversation then turns reflective as Vlad acknowledges G. Dep’s decision to take accountability for his past, serve time in prison, get clean, and remain committed to sobriety. G. Dep also shares gratitude, mentions his upcoming book, and pays respect to Black Rob’s lasting legacy.
