G. Dep sits down with VladTV to reflect on an unexpected reunion with Sean “Diddy” Combs shortly after his release, including riding through Harlem in a Phantom and meeting up at Melba’s around the African Day Parade. The former Bad Boy Records artist describes Diddy visiting him at a halfway house, sensing a family gathering atmosphere, and then hearing days later that Combs had been arrested. He shares his reaction to seeing news about the mansion raids while incarcerated and why he didn’t realize how serious the investigation had become. Vlad also brings up the ongoing court coverage, references to Daphne Joy, Fort Dix, and reports of a prison altercation involving Diddy. Drawing from his own prison experience, G. Dep explains how celebrity status can affect daily life behind bars and why even minor incidents can become major news.
