Part 7: William Noguera: I Stabbed 5 Men in Prison & Got Stabbed Multiple Times
Part 1: William Noguera on Killing His Abusive Girlfriend's Mother at Age 18
--------
In this VladTV interview, death row inmate William Noguera reflects on decades of conversations with more than 40 convicted killers, including Rodney Alcala, Lawrence Bittaker, Ward Weaver, Lonnie Franklin Jr. “the Grim Sleeper,” Cary Stayner, Jeffrey Dahmer and Richard Ramirez. Noguera discusses what he believes separates serial killers from mass murderers, arguing that serial offenders are driven by a “rush” and, often, sexual gratification—while figures like the Unabomber, Ted Kaczynski, don’t fit that profile despite killing multiple people over time.
Noguera also challenges common explanations about childhood abuse, molestation and trauma, saying some inmates use those stories to minimize responsibility. Drawing on his own experience living among death row prisoners, he explains why he believes serial killers are “wired differently” and how their behavior can escalate from childhood cruelty to repeated murder. A rare prison-level perspective on true crime, criminal psychology and the debate over nature versus nurture.
