Charleston White sits down with VladTV as DJ Vlad breaks down his fallout with N.O.R.E., from missed interview plans in Miami and Los Angeles to public shots exchanged on DJ Akademiks and Hot 97. Vlad details why he felt strung along by the Drink Champs host, compares the situation to more direct dealings with Andrew Schulz, Charlamagne Tha God, DeRay Davis and Mike Epps, and explains how business relationships can end without personal disrespect.
Charleston weighs in with his blunt perspective, calling N.O.R.E.’s alleged behind-the-scenes behavior cowardly and arguing that honesty would have avoided the drama. The conversation also touches on N.O.R.E.’s “culture vulture” criticism, Saigon’s attempt to mediate, and the timing of a sexual assault lawsuit filed by N.O.R.E.’s former partner tied to allegations from 1997. Vlad says he had no involvement and reflects on how public conflict can bring unwanted attention.
