Part 1: Nicholas Irving on His Book Reaper Revelations Exposes Governments in Human Trafficking
--------
In this candid conversation with Shawn Prez, former Army Ranger sniper Nicholas Irving answers a provocative hypothetical: with one shot anywhere in world history, he says he would try to stop the Romans who captured Yeshua/Jesus, standing with Peter despite the risk of altering destiny and faith itself. Irving reflects on whether the crucifixion was predestined, comparing the moment to Neo in *The Matrix* while wrestling with belief, violence, and redemption.
The discussion then turns deeply personal as Irving opens up about combat, PTSD, and the mindset shaped by Iraq, Afghanistan, 9/11, and elite military culture. He references Rob O’Neill, SEAL Team Six, Delta Force, Marine Recon, Army Rangers, Dahlonega, Georgia, and his own path from Maryland to war. Irving explains why, in combat, survival and protecting teammates mattered more than politics or “freedom,” offering a raw look at the cost of becoming a warrior.
