Former Army Ranger sniper and New York Times bestselling author Nicholas Irving returns to VladTV with Shawn Prez for a candid conversation on life after combat, PTSD, fatherhood, and the cost of modern warfare. Irving opens up about raising his 9-year-old son, living with trauma, using “medicine” instead of VA pharmaceuticals, and why being a dad now means more to him than his military legacy.
The discussion also covers Robert O’Neill, Dale Comstock, New York, Texas, Trump, Iran, the Strait of Hormuz, Israel-Hamas, Gaza, Afghanistan, Iraq, Vietnam, Venezuela, and the military-industrial complex. Irving questions the narratives behind America’s wars, breaks down why ground troops may no longer be the answer, and reacts to midterms, Kamala Harris, Mitch McConnell, and political dysfunction in Washington.
He also discusses his new book, Reaper Revelations, available on Amazon.
