Trap Lore Ross returns to VladTV to discuss the death of Chicago rapper Bloodhound Q50 and break down the surprising outcome of Lil Durk's federal murder-for-hire trial.
Ross and Vlad first react to Q50 being killed at just 22 years old after he was shot inside a Tesla outside a Chicago gas station. They discuss his rise alongside the late Lil Jeff, his reputation for claiming involvement in multiple killings, and the numerous street conflicts surrounding his career. Vlad reflects on previously interviewing Q50 and warns young artists that success doesn't erase unresolved street problems.
The conversation then shifts to Lil Durk's trial, which Ross attended in person. Durk was found not guilty on five counts connected to the murder-for-hire case involving the death of Lil Pab, while co-defendants Dee Dee and David Lindsay were convicted of stalking resulting in death. Ross explains why he believes prosecutors presented significant circumstantial evidence but ultimately failed to eliminate reasonable doubt surrounding Durk's direct involvement.
They examine key evidence presented during the trial, including testimony from Vonnie, travel arrangements allegedly made for individuals involved in the shooting, and flights reportedly purchased using Durk's American Express card.
Despite the acquittal, Durk's legal problems may not be over. Ross and Vlad discuss severed charges and a potential future RICO case involving additional alleged murders and attempted murders, including the attempted killing of Quando Rondo. They also examine whether additional defendants could cooperate with federal prosecutors before future trials.
