Part 6: Black Label on SWAT Raid That Ended with $250K Seized by Feds
Part 1: Black Label on Being Only White Kid in Poor Black Hood, Selling Crack at 11
--------
In this VladTV interview, Black Label breaks down the federal drug case that changed his life at just 19 years old. He says prosecutors tied him to a conspiracy involving over 50 kilos of powder cocaine, more than 30 kilos of crack, armed trafficking, money laundering, firearm allegations, telecommunications charges, and distribution of 50 grams or more of crack cocaine. Black Label explains how a larger Fort Myers indictment, fugitives, and an America’s Most Wanted connection shaped the case, while DEA pressure pushed him to cooperate against others.
As a first-time offender, he says he was initially told he could be facing 40 to 60 years, but refused to testify and ultimately accepted a 15-year federal plea. He also discusses sentencing guidelines, the lack of parole in the feds, Obama-era crack law context, and entering prison around age 20 with more than a decade ahead of him.
