In this VladTV Flashback, we revisit when Marcellus Wiley addressed the sexual assault lawsuit filed against him by a former Columbia University student. Speaking candidly with Vlad, the former NFL star dismissed the allegations as a "money grab" and maintained his innocence. Since this interview, Wiley has also been accused of sexual assault in separate allegations by a former ESPN production assistant and, more recently, by his wife, who alleged sexual assault during their relationship.

Wiley recalled learning about the lawsuit while on vacation and argued that the complaint the accuser filed with Columbia University in 1994 contradicts the claims made in the recent civil lawsuit. He explained why he has chosen to speak publicly about the case, saying he wants to defend both his reputation and his family's future, particularly for his son.

Wiley also criticized the use of anonymous lawsuits, arguing that they can severely damage a person's public image while shielding accusers from potential consequences. As the legal matters continue, Wiley has denied the allegations against him and says he intends to fight the claims.
