In a recent interview, Dawgface shared his thoughts on Gucci Mane’s role in the Pooh Shiesty case, expressing no surprise that Gucci Mane cooperated with authorities. Dawgface recalled how Gucci previously implicated Jeezy during the infamous “Pookie Load” incident despite Jeezy never being charged. He stressed that fame doesn’t change people’s fundamental nature, highlighting that many rappers’ public personas are carefully crafted in boardrooms.
Dawgface expected Gucci to rely on his security guard, a retired police officer, to provide testimony but was stunned when Gucci Mane himself gave a direct statement and even released a song seemingly confessing details, which could be used as evidence. When asked if Gucci might take the stand in court, Dawgface suggested it wouldn’t matter much since the statements have already been made public. “You might just be a little Woody,” he remarked, indicating Gucci’s apparent willingness to cooperate fully with the prosecution.
