Robert Allen, one of the four men involved in the fatal robbery, pled guilty to second-degree murder and testified against his co-defendants. Allen, who was not the shooter, claimed that XXXTentacion reached for a gun before being shot, a key detail used in the trial. Allen received seven years and 20 years probation but faces life if he violates probation, while the other defendants were sentenced to life imprisonment.
Jake reflected on the tragedy, emphasizing how XXXTentacion was a rising superstar whose life was cut short over a robbery. He condemned the actions of the shooters, noting the cold nature of the case, especially after one shooter mocked X post-sentencing. The judge delivered a harsh sentence, warning the defendants that “you can check out whenever you want, but you can never leave,” highlighting the grim reality of life imprisonment.
