Part 4: Dawgface: I Was Shot on 4 Different Occasions for Robberies, I Didn't Give a F*** If I Died
Part 1: Dawgface on Seeing His Mom Stabbing & Shooting People
--------
In a candid interview, Dawgface opens up about his turbulent life in Detroit’s violent drug scene and his time in prison. Loosely affiliated with the notorious Best Friends gang—known as one of Detroit’s most violent drug factions during the crack era—Dawgface admits to robbing drug dealers multiple times, often unmasked and unfazed by threats to his life. Despite being shot four times during these confrontations, he remained defiant, describing himself as the “most aggressive” inmate, and insisting nothing happened to him behind bars.
Reflecting on survival, he reveals that he was always in "full gangster mode," unconcerned with death but focused on living through each encounter. Dawgface also sheds light on the violent prison environment, particularly the deadly feud between the Street Lords and East Side cheddar boys, showing how street conflicts spill into prison life, escalating tensions and violence behind bars.
