A violent altercation involving Detroit rapper All Star J.R. and Houston’s Jay Prince Jr., son of influential music mogul J Prince Sr., has made headlines after NBA-affiliated rappers were reportedly shot. According to 1090 Jake on VladTV, the conflict stemmed from Jay Prince Jr. flaunting All Star J.R.’s baby mother on social media, escalating tensions. The confrontation occurred at a Houston restaurant where Jay Prince Jr. arrived with NBA-connected associates including rappers Ben Ten and others.
During the fight, All Star J.R. allegedly gained control of a gun from his attackers and shot Ben Ten and rapper Dead Enron. Ben Ten is reportedly paralyzed and on life support. Police have treated J.R.’s actions as self-defense under Texas’ "stand your ground" law, given the attempted robbery. Jay Prince Jr., criticized for his conduct, did not engage physically despite being present.
The incident highlights ongoing rivalries within the rap and basketball communities intertwined with personal disputes.
