Rising rapper DeeBaby recently opened up about a harrowing incident in April 2024 when his Cadillac Escalade was shot up outside a store — though thankfully, he was already at the studio when the shooting occurred. The violent event, which sadly left one person dead and another injured, was a case of mistaken identity, with assailants believing DeeBaby was involved due to similarities in the car. Despite the chaos, DeeBaby kept his composure, staying alert and unharmed.
On another note, DeeBaby addressed rising tensions with fellow artist Lefty Gunplay, who had crossed out DeeBaby’s name in a video. The two, however, have since squashed the beef, sharing mutual respect especially after Lefty’s recent Grammy win and collaborations with big names like Kendrick Lamar. DeeBaby expressed pride in Lefty’s achievements, emphasizing that success should be celebrated, not contested, highlighting a mature turn in their relationship.
