Part 17: Jap5 on BTB Savage Killing: You Don't Need a Gang for Revenge, Family Will Do It
Part 1: Jap5 on the Story Behind His Name & Being Born into 107 Hoover Criminal Gang

--------

In a candid interview, rapper and former fighter Jap5 weighed in on boxing and street fighting culture, giving a surprising perspective on Claressa Shields, widely regarded as one of the greatest female boxers of all time (GWOAT). While Vlad pointed out Shields’ comment that many rappers entering the ring need serious training since jail or street fights aren’t like professional boxing, Jap5 acknowledged her boxing skills but emphasized that jail fights are a different beast.

“Put her in jail, and she’d probably get her snacks taken,” Jap5 said, explaining that no matter how good someone is in the ring, survival in jail isn’t guaranteed. Jap5 drew from his own experience, having fought over 200 times and faced numerous challenges inside county jail, highlighting that real fights outside the ring often involve weapons and unpredictable situations. Despite this, he respects Shields' prowess but reminds us that street justice is a different game altogether.
