In a candid interview, rapper Jap5 recounted a tense encounter with fellow artist 4Xtra in jail back in 2016. The altercation, often described by 4Xtra as a win on his part, was downplayed by Jap5 as more of a brief tussle than a full fight. Despite their size difference—Jap5 at 126 pounds and 4Xtra being much bigger—the conflict ended without serious harm after the intervention of authorities. Surprisingly, the two later showed mutual respect, even spending time together and supporting each other through court appearances.
Jap5 also reacted to the shocking news that 4Xtra had accidentally blown off his own fingers last Fourth of July while handling fireworks, calling it a humbling yet serious incident. He stressed that such reckless behavior is dangerous, especially for a grown man with a family. Jap5 sympathized with 4Xtra but warned against the dangers of playing with fire—literally and figuratively.
