Wayno, who grew up between the Bronx and Harlem, shares a candid look at his turbulent childhood shaped by family and environment. Born in the Bronx, he enjoyed a relatively stable early life with his mom and grandmother. However, a move to Harlem at age 12 exposed him to harsher realities, including witnessing violent street incidents that left a lasting impact.
Central to Wayno’s story is his relationship with his father, a man who fathered eight children by eight different women. Despite having a close bond with his dad, Wayno admits the fragmented family dynamic affected him profoundly.
