Rising Chicago rapper Vonoff1700 recently opened up in an exclusive Vlad TV interview addressing viral moments from his youth and his tough upbringing on the city’s West Side. Known for his authentic street narratives, Vonoff1700 spoke candidly about a viral image showing him holding a gun at age 11, explaining how guns and violence were tragically normalized in his environment. “Me and my brother, we were just out with that,” he said, reflecting on growing up amid frequent street violence during the mid-2010s.
He also addressed a widely seen video of him fighting in an alley, clarifying it was with a close friend and part of his reality growing up in a dangerous neighborhood.
