In a recent interview, Lil Woody addressed the controversial interrogation video of rapper Young Thug that surfaced after his prison release. When asked whether he thought Young Thug was snitching, Lil Woody replied, “If he said I snitched, then he snitched,” adding that Thug’s situation mirrored his own past experiences with law enforcement. He explained that interrogation rooms are inherently designed for questioning, and talking to police does not necessarily mean someone is snitching.

Lil Woody also discussed the backlash Young Thug faced following the video, including the pressure from constant public scrutiny and an interview tour meant to defend himself, which, in Lil Woody’s opinion, backfired. Despite the controversy affecting Thug’s album sales, Lil Woody urged artists to focus on consistently dropping quality music and regaining their lives rather than getting caught up in rumors and opinions.
