In a recent interview, Tekashi 6ix9ine opened up about his past clashes with fellow rapper Dave East. Tekashi recalled a moment early in his career when Dave East disrespected him during a studio session by prompting Tekashi to play his music, only for everyone to laugh at his unconventional rock-influenced rap style. Tekashi felt this was a deliberate attempt by Dave to embarrass him.
However, Tekashi got his payback at a Lala fundraiser event organized to help kids go back to school. Despite Dave East being popular around 2015-2018, he was initially denied entry at the event. Tekashi casually invited him in, flipping the script and showing he held the upper hand. Tekashi ended the story calling Dave East a “bum,” underscoring their lingering rivalry while highlighting how he took control in their ongoing beef.
