Part 5: Nicholas Irving on Seeing Muslim Men in Afghanistan Sleep with Animals
Part 1: Nicholas Irving on Andrew Tate Losing to Chase DeMoor: Looked Like Drunk Uncle,Had No Hands
--------
Former Army Ranger and sniper Nicholas Irving opened up in a recent interview about the prevalence of same-sex relations among Afghan fighters, a revelation that contrasts with widespread beliefs about strict anti-homosexuality laws in the region. Irving described witnessing what he called “Man Love Thursdays,” weekly mass orgies where male combatants engaged in sexual acts—often involving young boys. He recounted entering a tent filled with men in such acts and even having to separate enemy fighters physically attached during combat.
Despite severe cultural punishments for homosexuality in much of the Middle East, Irving emphasized that in Afghanistan this behavior was pervasive and openly practiced, with an estimated 80% of fighters “not even in the closet.” In this context, women were viewed primarily for reproduction, while male-male relations were normalized among these combatants. This stark insider perspective challenges common narratives and sheds light on complex social dynamics within the Afghan conflict.
