Part 17: Abdul Robinson: Identifying My Son Ksoo on the Stand Was the Hardest Thing I've Ever Done
--------
In a candid interview, Abdul Robinson opened up about his reaction when his son Ksoo was sentenced to life in prison without parole. “I felt I had some mixed emotions. None of them good,” Robinson admitted, reflecting the pain and complexity of the moment. Ksoo’s brothers also received harsh sentences—HK Scotty got life, Krazy K was sentenced to 12 years after pleading guilty to accessory charges, and Butta received 25 years for cooperating and admitting to murders.
Robinson expressed frustration with the justice system, particularly noting how Krazy K was unfairly charged with first-degree murder despite no involvement. He also felt sympathy for HK Scotty, who he said was assigned a public defender throughout the trial, suggesting possible pressure to turn on others. “Scotty is a good dude,” Robinson said, emphasizing his son’s loyalty despite the circumstances.
Despite the hardship, Robinson finds some solace in seeing his sons grow and learn through the ordeal, though the pain remains deeply felt.
