Irving was confident Joshua would dominate from the start, describing Jake Paul as a beginner boxer without the skill or power to contend with a seasoned heavyweight like Joshua.
Irving highlighted Paul’s strategy of constantly moving—“running a half marathon” each round—to avoid Joshua’s heavy punches. Despite Paul's evasive tactics, Irving noted that after taking several hits, Paul’s jaw nearly broke in two places, and he reportedly lost some teeth.
Irving also commented on the massive payday both fighters earned, with reports suggesting a $96 million split, matching earnings of boxing legends like Mayweather and Pacquiao. He emphasized the changing landscape of boxing, where a YouTuber-turned-fighter can draw huge audiences and massive revenue, signaling a new era in combat sports.
