Conway agreed to testify against the two, detailing the planning and execution of the robbery that resulted in the murder of Allen “Charlie” Taylor Jr. During the trial, Max B’s lawyer attacked her character, calling her a drug addict and prostitute, and questioned her credibility due to her drug use at the time. Despite this, Conway stood firm, describing feeling alone and betrayed but committed to telling the truth. Reflecting on the verdict, she expressed that while she felt the sentences were excessive, she was relieved the truth came out. Conway emphasized her hope for rehabilitation, underscoring her belief in second chances despite the harsh penalties handed down.
