In a recent interview, Gina Conway, co-defendant in the Max B case, disclosed chilling details about the armed robbery and hostage situation involving Poo Sims. Conway described how Sims was armed with a gun, duct tape, rope, and gloves—items he revealed only moments before forcing Conway out of the car. “He pulled the gun out, told me to get out,” Conway recalled, admitting she complied out of fear.
Conway witnessed Sims threatening hostages at gunpoint inside a hotel room. After knocking on the door, a girl—identified as Giselle Neves—answered, only to be silenced by Sims who covered her mouth and ordered her to shut up. Conway was instructed to take Neves to the bathroom and keep her restrained while Sims continued his intimidation.
Despite the terrifying circumstances, Conway expressed her fear prevented her from fleeing, illustrating the tense control Sims had during the ordeal. Her testimony sheds light on the harrowing moments of the crime as prosecution builds its case.
