Former DEA agent Hector Berrellez weighed in on the recent arrest and guilty plea of Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada, co-founder of the Sinaloa cartel. Berrellez calls El Mayo the true "boss of bosses," describing him as a multibillionaire who controlled an expansive, global empire for over four decades. Contrary to expectations, Berrellez suspects El Mayo is cooperating with U.S. authorities to avoid harsh penalties, including the death penalty, citing his advanced age and poor health.
