Nicholas Irving weighed in on the case involving the assassination of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk. The alleged assailant, Tyler Robinson, who had taken credit for the attack via text messages and revealed personal motivations linked to a relationship with a trans woman, was quickly identified and turned in by his own parents after seeing his photo released by law enforcement. Irving expressed sympathy for the difficult decision faced by the family, affirming, “I'd have to turn my kid into the [authorities]. That would hurt me, but I can’t hold that back.”
